I think I might of given Inuyashiki's CG animation a bit more of a pass, but a combination of it's random use, direct competition with an unbeatable foe in the CG department, and MAPPA clearly putting more traditional animation effort into Garo results in something that's hard to describe as anything but messy. They go out of their way to make the 3D rotational shots of lasers look cool, but nothing else matches that.
