I'm circumcised, and my argument is that even if it does cause pain and trauma to the child, they have no recollection of it if you do it early enough. I sure have no memory of it. We discussed this for months, but I finally gave in when she showed me a video of the procedure on a baby. They strap the baby down and it's screaming the whole time :( it's tough to watch.
