Topic	A lot of Family Guy jokes don't have anything to do with the plot.

They have multiple writers for each episode, sometimes they let every person write a joke without seeing the outline for the episode and they'll just throw it in. Kind of like those school projects where you partner up w/ someone to write a story, and each of you take turns adding to it.
