Basically, Nintendo decided to coat Switch game cartridges with some kind of chemical that makes them taste really bitter in an attempt to keep kids from eating them and choking on them. Unfortunately, then the Internet found out, and adults (mostly the stupid ones) were licking and eating Switch cartridges just to find out what they tasted like. Memes/gifs about people eating Switch cartridges happened, memes/gifs about Kanna from Dragon Maid eating various things happened, and the two coming together was inevitable. ...I'll be honest.
