you can do this, but it's a pain since it's a lot of steps and you have to do it one by one:

click link, get 403 forbidden page, refresh that page, image now loads, close tab, refresh this thread, image now loads from cache

doesn't seem to work for most of the animated ones though, though it does sometimes

(actually, it's not too bad. click -> refresh -> close -> repeat for each link, refresh this thread when done.)
