Performer is a great buffing class, for sure, but not much outside of that; can use certain songs that apply 5 turn (to 10 turn with Prolong Support passive skill) partywide buffs of +25% P.Atk+M.Atk or P.Def+M.Def for only a moderate MP cost, and has Zero Sum for the more annoying bosses that build up BP and Brave. I remember that the BP increasing song was a gamebreaker by really comboing well with the time mage bp increasing skill or mimic allowing one to spam the strongest attacks. And yeah the zero sum skill was useful for the long bosses in the final chapters.
