Tom Bombadil 03/11/18 6:07:30 PM #215:	It's time for Pokemon Silver: After winning the right to create his own world for once, Zeneth decided to take a more direct role in monster combat, and set forth into his creation of Johto. It looked like Sych found his way there, as well, and the struggle began.... I finished asking everybody to set up my team, and wound up with Typhlosion, Dragonite, Umbreon, Clefable, Lanturn, and Kingler. Most of those I think show up pretty late, so that's gonna be kinda weird. Anyway, I played a good chunk last night and some this morning, and loved it. I played Gold AND Silver back when they came out, but didn't get very far in either, so this is the perfect mix of nostalgia and freshness for me. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate the old 2D graphics, and I've yet to really miss some of the modern conveniences of the series. (except I thought I got running shoes at the beginning so that's a bummer) I've gotten past Violet City already. My team right now is Quilava, Onix (very excited to finally have one on my team! Even though he sucks and I have no real means of evolving him), Bellsprout (once I get to a Pokecenter and drop my Zubat), Hoothoot, Weedle, and THE MYSTERIOUS EGG. (how do we not know how pokemon reproduce? geeze) Map is kinda confusing to me for some reason, and I'm not sure why they put in Flash and Dark Cave this early and then stuck most of it behind Rock Smash anyway.
