Maybe this will encourage them to lower taxes and get real estate prices under control so they stop choking out eveybody who doesnt work for Silicon Valley. Taxes are already low in CA and real estate prices depend on the market. CA's population is growing above the national rate so there's not a whole lot you can do about property prices aside from building upwards which is what LA is doing.
