When unemployment reaches around 2% is when it starts to become a problem. Businesses can't expand, they're working on skeleton crews which strains the workers, albeit well-paid workers with lots of employment prospects. But it is exactly the right type of place for a person with no real marketable skills or experience to go. Not only is the pay decent, you get a variety of types of jobs and training to go with it. If I didn't already have a career in software engineering and was working low wage jobs, I'd get the hell out of Dodge and go to where the opportunities are. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
