My brother married an accountant, and it's great money and very stable, but I think what I do fits my personality type better. No offense taken brother! I'm unemployed for the first time in my life right now, so it's made me think about going in a different direction even more. Stable work, but can be boring (and stressful) as hell. Oh yeah, around tax season, all my accountant friends are pretty much MIA. It can be scary to take a new path though when those jobs are generally pretty in demand though.
