All it really takes, is the right five lawyers decreeing that the 2nd amendment doesn't actually meant what we've thought it's meant since 1789. That's the actual plan. I'm saying citizens wouldn't let this happen. You can say its illegal, even decree it. People won't voluntarily turn them in on the scale you think. It would cause civil war. Maybe not in the state vs state sense like the 1860s, but people would die attempting to enforce this. As I've said before, anyone who believes the citizenry of this country stands a chance in hell against the US armed forces is delusional. American soldiers are people too. There are sane politicians out there. You're asking American soldiers to go door to door, forcing people at gunpoint to disarm. Soldiers will die. Citizens will die. Guns will STILL be available.
