| Topic | Do you like movies that the sequels are a different genre from the first movie? |

The original was a horror-comedy (involving an alcoholic author experiencing supernatural events after moving into his deceased aunt's place and chooses to stay since he believes that it might hold clues to the fate of his missing son). The sequel was an action/fantasy involving a guy who discovers his zombie cowboy great, great, great, etc, grandfather where they then race another zombie cowboy to find a magic skull (and it's actually even goofier than it sounds). Enjoyed them both. Third and fourth apparently go in other different directions, although they're more horror. Haven't seen either, although I'm mildly curious about the fourth.
