And if that isnt your solution. What do you envision? People saying "here you go, take my guns" and peacefully going along with it? That won't happen. The army will be forced to kill people, or imprison them; Americans on American soil. What does that sound like to you? I am not "calling for the military to kill American civilians in order to enforce a law". I'm saying that if it came down to Joe Average vs. an ill-adjusted 4-tour Marine, it will NOT go well, for anyone. Just by dint of materiel, personnel, and experience, the military would have the upper hand in an all-out conflict. I agree with you. People will die. People that are currently law abiding will be made into criminals.And guns will still be available on the black market. You seem to support a tyrannical government as the lesser of two evils. Will you please stop putting words in my mouth? I am NOT saying I support a tyrannical government, either. I'm saying that if something like this did happen, it would be BAD.
