Bacon, even with different flavors, tend to also taste similar. While different types Cheese can have many more flavors. Also, way more recipes and types of food consist of cheese. Meaning a lot of those products wouldn't exist for me. Or would taste absolutely terrible. Between the two cheese seems to be the obvious choice. I know some people who are lactose intolerant who like cheese. And just can't eat it much. Granted, there will be people who just don't like cheese, or who don't think it worth it if they are lactose intolerant. And there will also be people who don't eat bacon because they don't eat pork. For religious reasons or other. Vegetarians would probably choose cheese over bacon(I would hope).
