davidponte 03/23/18 2:48:13 AM #158: | I attempted to be free to play for over a year when I started playing, but that involved focusing on one or two classes and disenchanting everything from other classes, with very little progress made. It's not a great long-term strategy either. I still haven't recovered fully, with my Rogue class missing every single Epic/Legendary from the Classic set. The first money I spent was on Adventures because those cards were vital to most decks. Those aren't a thing anymore so packs would be the way to go. I've probably spent around $200 total on the game which is a relatively small amount when you look at how much it really costs to get most of the cards. You're looking at $300+ per expansion if you just want to open up the cards from packs. I've never pre-ordered (always gone the gold save-up route), but with the 20 bonus packs being offered along with it being a new Standard year, I've decided to do it for the new expansion. I'm also a Standard only player, though. Which means I'll be dusting all of the cards rotating out next month, allowing me to gain a bunch of dust to use towards new cards. It means I'll never be able to play Wild, but I have no interest in it anyway. --- Brought to you by GameFlux Free GameFAQs app on Google Play! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
