Since the dawn of time, we've fought and argued over Cartoons and Anime. What's better? Are cartoons anime? Is anime a cartoon? Who would win in a fight, Bugs Bunny or Kenshiro? We may never know the answer to these questions, but what we can do is systematically eliminate them round by round to find a winner.

A while back I ran a Save That Anime and Manga Character, with Dio Brando taking the win. More recently, Kajagogo ran a Save That Cartoon Character with Lion-O taking the win. I've put together the Top 50 of both contests, pitting the best cartoon characters against the best anime characters. Will Dio claim victory again? Or will Lion-O crawl his way to the top? Or maybe a new character will take it. Who knows? Only time will tell. What I can tell you is that things are gonna get a little weird, they're gonna get a little wild.

Right now, you can save up to 2 characters an hour.

Characters are saved based on the order in your post, so it's advised to save your favorites first.

Please specify saves instead of specifying elimination.

The last remaining character will be eliminated.
