Nevertheless I don't think getting drunk is inherently bad. On the contrary I think getting drunk is quite good in a lot of ways, but still I recognize that you are right and that the majority of the many many societal issues that stem from alcohol are from people overdoing it, so the argument that getting drunk is bad isn't out of place, depends completely on person to person and incident to incident. As a matter of fact I tend to do things that I end up regretting more when I'm sober than if I am drunk or inebriated in another fashion, and this instance of being sad drunk is a very rare occurrence that has passed now.
