| Topic | Best, Worst, Most Underrated, and Most Overrated Final Fantasy? |
| ParanoidObsessive 03/23/18 8:33:30 AM #50: | Best - FFIV or FFVI, depending on my mood... but more often than not VI. Worst - VIII or XII, depending on my mood... but almost always VIII. Fuck Squall and every single thing about his shitty game. Overrated - FFVII, easily. Too many people praise it as the greetest RPG evar because it was the first one they ever played and nostalgia is a hell of a drug. But it's mid-tier FF at best, and not even the best RPG released in the year it came out. Underrated - I'm tempted to say FFIV, but that's pretty much the Internet hipster game of choice in the franchise, so it's hard to call it underrated. So I might just say FFX-2, since nearly everyone ever totally shits on that game whenever it comes up, and it's not actually a bad game if you can look past the Barbie Dress-Up aspects to the same job sphere mechanics everyone masturbates over in FFV and Tactics. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
