Topic	So you ban guns in the US, what about black market and criminals?

So you disarm cops. Now the criminal with a gun, who is getting locked up for the rest of his life if apprehended, just as if he kills someone, has no incentive to be taken alive, or even not to shoot the officer. The officer can't defend himself because he doesn't have a gun. Lots of dead cops, which means less people are going to want to be police officers, thus leading to less enforcement of any laws. Congratulations, with your stupid attempt at banning guns you've managed to throw us into basically the state of nature as Hobbes described it. No government, no security, and bare existence.
