Cats would be more capable than small dogs or specialized breeds of dogs that serve no purpose. As long as they have their claws and aren't wearing one of those stupid bells around their neck, they could survive depending on age and where they're located. Won't help the bird population thrive, but...most would survive depending on the area obviously and weather. Some cats are scared of the outside for some reason, but my cats are dying to get out there. Ultimately though, the top 8 that other person posted is probably true.
