| Topic | Easiest way to transition cat from house to outdoor cat? |

A few years back through a messy divorce my brother had, my parents ended up taking him and his ex-wife's cat, but couldn't keep the cat indoors due to dogs/allergies/etc. The cat now basically lives in my parent's garage mostly, but they leave the door open for her so that she can go outside if she likes. She never strays far from the garage and mostly just walks around the yard, coming back into the garage at night to sleep (and has a heat light during the winter to stay warm). That started maybe 7 years ago and the cat is like 14 years old now, and seems to be doing fine/healthy.
