Topic	Easiest way to transition cat from house to outdoor cat?

He was full grown but young, and we fed him and during a huge snowstorm he just walked inside and he was our cat ever since. We lived right in front of a busy road but he knew what it was since he grew up outside. Probably saw plenty of the other strays get killed by cars. So he lived his life happily, coming and going inside and outside as he pleased. He died of old age. My other two cats grew up as indoor cats. I would never let them be outside cats. They didn't grow up and have to survive through it so they would probably get hit by a car within a week. Plus the one cat is way too much of a sweetheart.
