Well it turns out my take won't be very interesting. I made it three episodes in and... nope, this is the sixth anime I've ever dropped. Nothing that happened was remotely interesting to me and what has happened hasn't been handled very well. The character archetypes of almost everyone have been really bothering me too, which doesn't give me any reason to think I'll like it more if I continue. Ah well, they can't all be winners.

Ha, that's kind of a shame, because the last half of the series, which introduces a bunch of new characters, was legitimately entertaining to me. Some real emotional stuff and interesting as well. Gai and everyone attached to him are barley even there.

At the same time it's not actually good enough that I can call it worth the first half to get to, so this isn't actually a recommendation.

I'll probably be the only person here who ends up finishing this.
