The mechanics are really simple to pick up, but there's no real nuance to it at all once you master it, like there is in other arcade golf games. I had everything down in like, two hours of playing. Icehawk posted... It oozes charm like crazy, and the writing is preeeetty good. I'm glad I played it after all is said and done, but there's absolutely no reason for me to go back to it ever again, like I will for Mario Golf or Hot Shots games. That said, it does at least have a true test of skill in Galf. Now that's where you separate the men from the boys.
