"Perhaps Binding," you say. "Again, if you can incapacitate your opponent, the duel is over."

"So then should I practice binding you?" she smirks.

"Well, you should also practice freeing yourself," you say. "Clauditis!"

"Ack!" Raven blurts as she's clamped inside a cylinder. "What is this?"

"It's simply just called 'Lock'," you say. "It's level 5 out of 10, so this isn't even the most powerful Binding spell possible. Which also means there is a way out of it. You're inside it, so the way out is to pick the lock using your mana. You'll feel the lock pushing back at different levels, so you'll have to use varying amounts, much like the teeth of a key."

"I figured that much," she grumbles as she wriggles around. "Hold on."

You sit and watch Raven squirm inside the giant keyhole around her. She makes some interesting faces while picking the lock, as well. Lots of squinting and furrowing of the brow, while crinkling her nose and scrunching her lips.

"Sounds like you're doing well," you say. "Of course, in a duel, or even in sparring, you wouldn't have time to just patiently free yourself."

*Chik CHAK* The lock is solved and it disappears from around Raven. She stretches her arms while you stand back up.

"Ready to try with some pressure put on you?" you ask.

"Definitely," she smirks.

"Clauditis!" you say again.

The lock goes back on, and you prepare more mana.

"I'm going to give you until the count of ten," you say. "Then I'll hit you with something else. Ten. Nine. Eight."

Raven wriggles around very quickly while you quietly prepare
