Corrik, look.

My first point was, effectively, "giving Knox the ball more would have netted us more points"

Your response was to say PJ was the best player overall. That might be right, but it doesn't contradict my point. It is based on a bunch of stats that all either aren't relevant to our offense, or, would have looked different if you gave Knox the ball more.

3 steals, 1 block

irrelevant to my point. Getting steals and blocks in no way equates to "let's give him the ball on offense more."

15 rebounds. (6 offensive)

irrelevant to my point. rebounds in no way equates to "let's give him the ball on offense more."

Knox was 5-10.
PJ was 5-7.

again, I'm curious about 2nd half specifics.

Knox did shit on D. PJ played well on D.

irrelevant to my point. defensive play in no way equates to "let's give him the ball on offense more."

Without PJ playing, UK would have been blown out

while it's a fair statement, all things considered, it also does nothing to contradict my point. it would have been a blowout more because of what we lost from him on defense and to a lesser extent, drawing fouls.

Figuring Knox made a string of shots he is normally very inconsistent on, it is likely he would have been missing those shots moreso. And how many of those fouls on PJ were when he got an offensive rebound off a missed shot by Kentucky.

You made a comment about us only doing well against Davidson because Knox was making shots he normally didn't. Not sure but you might have also made a similar comment during the Buffalo game. HMM coach, maybe Knox is working out here in this tournament...

And for the bold part...again this in no way contradicts the point of "give Knox the ball more".

I'm NOT saying Knox was the best player overall. I'm saying that he should have gotten the ball more. Those are very different statements.
