Good point Waluigi, I do think I could use a closing statement of sorts.

As a FORMER NINTENDO HATER, I will say, I think if you are a gamer, and if the money isn't a huge deal, I think you kind of have to own a switch. The versatility of it is really fantastic, and I just love the convenience of being able to play wherever I want. Steamworld Heist is a game that probably wouldn't have been quite as fun to play in a conventional way. But laying on the couch, TV on in the background? Awesome! That versatility means it is by far the best console to play indie games on, and there are a lot of great indie games out there. Out of my top 6, "elite tier" games, 5 are not your standard big time retail games.

But obviously, there is a price to pay in terms of system power. If I could only own one console, Switch would be my last choice of the 3. But once you own either the Xbox or probably more ideally, the PS4, the second console of choice would easily be the Switch. Being Nintendo, you will still get plenty of exclusive games, and it brings plenty that the other two do not.

Owning a Switch does remind me a lot of many of the issues I have had with Nintendo over the years. Being so behind the curve in online remains frustrating, and while I have enjoyed Mario and Zelda, I still have problems with both. I do think the best way for Nintendo to be the king for the next 5 years would be to kill off their 3DS support, and start putting all those games on the Switch. It just makes the most sense to me. There is no need to have 2 different "mobile" consoles, especially when one is far more powerful. I am glad that it seems a full fledged Fire Emblem and Pokemon game will be coming to the Switch, that helps, but man, everything going on Switch would put it right up there with the other guys, even if the system still wouldn't be powerful enough to get all the big 3rd party releases.

As for Upcoming Switch games that I am excited for...

Donkey Kong: Jungle Freeze- I loved DKC as a kid, so an updated DK game sounds like a blast to me, and obviously it was well received before.

Mario Tennis Aces- As previously stated, I really enjoy arcade sports games. If the story mode is well made, that would be a kick. But eitherway, this game is much more up my alley for when friends are over versus a racing game like Mario Kart.

Wargroove- I enjoyed Advance Wars back IN THE DAY. I'm down for a medieval version.

Hollow Knight- Well reviewed, looks like a fun metroidvania.

Runner 3- I totally dug Runner 2 on my Xbox 360, playing it mobile sounds even better.

Fire Emblem- Duh

Yoshi- I tend to like the Nintendo 2D platformers more than the 3D ones.

Project Octopath- Played the demo. Neat little combat system, and fun concept. Seems like it does enough different to keep it fresh from a standard JRPG.

Shin Megami Tensei- Loved Persona 5, and I believe this is from the same company? I haven't played any of these games, but I'll give it a go!

No More Heroes 3- I've never played one, but that trailer in Nintendo Direct looked super cool!

Dragon Quest 11- I last played DQ8 and loved it, I hope it comes to America.

Pokemon- Haven't played one in depth since the 2nd iteration of games. I think it's been long enough where it'll feel fresh. I probably won't be super into online play, as I hate taking the time to learn all the strategies I'd likely need to figure out to be good, but as long as the 1P is done well, I'm sure I can enjoy it.

Of course, only 2 of these have release dates, which is a concern right now. Really hope we get more dates on stuff soon!
