Some people may find the story boring, but I am very much enjoying it. And there is some action in the later episodes. The art alone should be able to carry it until the story catches you or you decide it's not for you. zoro-1992 posted... Just finished my first anime from last season which was Mahoutsukai no Yome, I was initially taken aback by the lack of action and the slow-paced story but when I adjusted to the pace I thoroughly enjoyed it, the designs were great (especially the shadowy-monster things), the music was great and most of all the artwork/animation was fantastic. I was really impressed by the amount of work that was put into it and after finishing all 27 episodes I could quite easily consume more of it, great stuff I'm glad you liked it, I thought the second half was much better but the first half was still good. Chise's growth as a character was very necessary as she was being carried by the secondary characters and plot in the first half. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
