Well, it works because Edgeworth is actually being a defense attorney instead of acting like a defense attorney while nominally being a prosecutor. It's part of why the concept works better in AAI2 because he's working with Ray most of the time. but seriously man 3-5 might be Gumshoe's best case in terms of amazing one-liners he has a bunch of great ones on both days --- ...
