They give it more emphasis than you'd expect if it were just thrown away. that moment is more about Phoenix/Maya than Phoenix/Franziska because Maya drew the picture like if they wanted that moment to mean more than that Franziska would've given it back to him like she said she would or at least mentioned it but she never does --- ...
