I am also saying that they could reprint Reserved List cards, and the original printed versions would retain value due to scarcity of that particular version.

Look at Imperial Recruiter. It was a $250 card. They reprinted it, and that reprint is worth $30. The original is still $190. Sure, it lost value, but the collectible version is still much more valuable compared to the accessible version now available if you just want the card to play.

I don't think I said anything that disagreed with you.

I originally just said that special printings such as Masterpieces could attain the price heights that Reserve List cards reach. They already have some in the $300-$400 range.
