Right off the bat, a random second issue of a thing! I'm told this is indeed our only issue. The first thing I notice is that there is a SCRATCH AND SNIFF area on the cover. Unfortunately I can't smell anything, but that could be my shortage of fingernails and sense of smell. I think Wifebolo has read a couple different bakery manga that I have conflated, but I'm pretty sure this is the one I always think she's talking about.

Eiji's old friends with benefits show up in a group, thus contradicting one of my assumed premises of this manga. Maybe everybody's bi instead. Anyway, we find out that he had a rough backstory even though he has presumably become the nice bishie now and is a super baking nerd. He lost his virginity in 5th grade and is bored with sex now. We're off to a good start, man.

Main character-san seems to get around a lot, and now there's a weird triangle with him, his boyfriend(?), and his primary(?) love interest....'s inept sidekick. I like the sidekick guy- he's one of those guys who looks cool and is pretty much useless. We have to leave him in charge of the store while the owner runs around being Santa for deliveries and scaring all the children. Turns out he's just grumpy, not old and grumpy.

My rating: 4/10
I'm, uh, not the target audience here. Nonetheless, there were a few moments and characters that amused me.
