Any reason for this? daemon means guardian spirit/ deity in ancient greek. the word "demon" is a corruption of the word, along with the meaning (indicating that the old gods was actually demons). Huh. Any reason why the spelling only pops up in JRPGs, then? because they think it's cool? just like evangelion picks kabbalism as the central theme, they just thought that it was cool without even understanding what it means.
