Not sure what to make of it yet as it's only 1 episode, but it's not what you'd really expect. I don't know if I'd even call it a variety show, it's very heavily scripted like a drama, but they still break character a little here and there. Imagine one of the crazy Running Man episodes where they're supposed to be specific roles (like rich heirs to companies or something like that) except they play it straight and try not to break character. Because of that I can't tell if any of the puzzles or anything is even legit or if it's all entirely scripted. I didn't even really get any laughs out of the first episode, I'm not sure what the point of it being that scripted is, but I'll keep watching. 2 episodes in...it's honestly getting pretty cringey. It's focused way too much on the plot and doesn't let the cast even really do anything. There's barely any humor at all. If they wanted to do a drama they should have done a drama, the whole thing seems rather pointless to me, but it's only 2 episodes so eh.
