They told me I could be anything, so I became a Beyblade.

I'll be honest, this was a pretty sweet concept, and they probably did the best they could given their technology and budget for this film. Shoot ALL the lasers! And kudos to them for the lasers not just bursting from the ship's every orifice. Making the gunner reminiscent of an old-school WW2 tail gun system was great too. But man, the CGI of the time and stilted writing just drag it down. I can't take those bad-guy ships seriously at all when their aim is even worse than a stormtrooper. Alex and Grig are literally sitting ducks, and the enemies just let themselves get blown up.

If this were fast-forwarded two decades with the increase in technological ability even on a shoestring, this could have been higher. Then again, this movie also probably would not have been made. It's a delicate rope to walk, but even though I'd like to, I can't get this any higher on my scale.
