As far as I know, there is no treatment for biid. While I don't think psychologists or doctors should be mutilating these people, I doubt locking them up will do much good either (unless they pose a danger to others, but I don't think that's a likely issue given the nature of the disorder). If they harm themselves so be it, but effectively imprisoning them on the taxpayers' dollar and relegating them to a life of that misery doesn't do anyone any good. --- "a minority is someone who you can tell off the bat they are black/hispanic/colored.
