Frankly, this is a canard trotted out by socially awkward people who refuse to face up to the fact that behavior they view as innocent can make women feel very unsafe. It's not rocket science that most girls don't want to date someone who makes them uncomfortable.

Frankly, attractive people don't need to learn to not be socially awkward, though. Which is true even of your fallacious and disingenuous "safety" argument, since "safety" is often dependent on attraction given that people feel more comfortable around attractive people, even when it comes to their platonic gender. And there's a lot of genuinely fucked up behavior that attractive guys and girls can get away with that the rest of society wouldn't even try for fear of having the cops called.
