I loved watching anohana as it aired but I'm not sure how much I'd like it if I ever rewatched it. so much of it for me was in the spectacle of what was going to happen next. avatar is great, it would be among my favorite "anime" too. I watched season 1 of korra, was really underwhelmed, and never watched the rest. I like one punch man but I never quite understood its popularity. I guess maybe it's just because animation quality will never make a show for me... the story mostly just feels like a mindless superhero comedy to me which is fine but yeah. maybe it's that aspect since I pretty much never like comedy series on the same level as drama.
