Trump isn't too likely to win another term, but that doesn't mean the Republicans are in real trouble anytime soon. They still control the Supreme Court and can lock that up for the next couple of decades if another justice needs replaced. The Senate inherently favors the GOP due to their popularity in rural areas. The gerrymandering in the House is strong enough that the Democrats probably won't be able to elect a strong majority until at least 2022 (and even that'll be tough). So even if the Dems win the presidency in 2020 (and that's not a 100% chance), they won't be able to make many big changes anyway.
