TOP 10 OVERALL
1) Dominion I think other deckbuilders have had some neat ideas, but the original is still the best at executing them
2) Ascension This one being one of the few that really comes close.
3) Catan My gateway. Cities is most played but I also like Seafarers.
4) Party Playoff Combines my two great loves: board games and tournaments. My go-to for a new group whose tastes I don't know.
5) Near and Far Really I'm just excited to play a campain
6) 7 Wonders I love drafting ALMOST as much as deckbuilding
7) Knightmare Chess It's dumb and swingy and I love it.
8) Rook Official game of my college choir. We had official house rules and everything.
9) Killer Bunnies I will never argue that it's a good game but I have enjoyed it
10) Concrete Jungle Deckbuilding AND territory control!

now to go to bed and think of five dozen games that should've been on these lists instead
