Theory being that damage buffs of the same type have slight diminishing returns. So if you were min maxing you'd want to equip whichever buff is present less often in her sphere. So if she has more holy damage boosts in her spheres you'd want sword and if she has more sword damage boosts you'd want holy. I just pick random +30%s though because it hardly matters.
