It was surprisingly good, I especially enjoyed the unexpected surprise they threw in towards the end My only complaint was the L3 droid, that character seemed mostly pointless to the plot given how much attention and screen time was given to her It's because they did the "origin to everything" thing people were assuming they'd do and ~~made L3 become the Falcon. So she needed screentime to build that up.~~ Biggest problem I had with the film was that it portrayed Han as an already heroic character ~~(who helps the Rebellion during the climax)~~ and so it makes his character development during ANH feel pointless. That hurts the portrayal of Han more than the actor ever could have. The movie was fine. I was expecting better tbh.
