Usually, I'm not a big fan of obnoxiously long "wind-up" times in the middle of a fight, but here the flashiness makes up for it, and it's not too long. The animation shows its age a little bit, but the effects are pretty nice as the sword becomes engulfed in dark energy and the connection to the sky portal twists and writhes. The incantation is actually pretty nice too; often they're silly or just dumb, but here it works.

So why is this so low? Because I have no idea what the fuck it actually does.

It connects with the beam that the big demon shoots out, presumably overpowers it, there's an explosion, and then... nothing much has changed. There aren't any visible wounds on Demon McDemonface, he's just grunting in pain for some reason. No puncture wounds, no crushed limbs, not even any scuff marks or dark veins to show corrupting influence. Instead he just kinda stands there until he shows some class and applauds the good guys for taking him down. Then he petrifies and crumbles? I feel like that isn't the effect of Giga Slave as much as it's just the method by which Demon McDemonface happens to die. So... yeah, I can't rate it too high when I'm not totally sure what it did.
