When DOOM 3 came along, it was the most I had ever spent on a video game (like $60 for the awesome steelbook). To say I was disappointed was an understatement. With all the turnover and turmoil over at Id since this game was under development, I was wary how this would turn out, even with the great reception. After a "slow" start, I began to see why it was lauded as one of 2016's finest, and it might be my favorite game in the series.
