Topic	Tom reads through the Bolo Family Manga Collection (spoilers)
Tom Bombadil 05/30/18 2:12:39 PM #49:	Cello Man introduces himself as Hagi, which means I've been mentally spelling his name wrong for years. Kai didn't get the whole "living weapon" memo and is a bit upset about how his sister is being treated, but Saya is ready to cut herself off and go fulfill her destiny. Charles And Friends crash the school play. Being meguca is suffering and Saya must not get close to anybody or this will happen to them. Apparently Saya's blood is what is able to kill the Chiropterans, but she also needs blood to fuel herself. Hagi has some of his ready. Saya slaughters a platoon of mooks, but Charles is able to snag her right in the middle of a nice scene where Kai intends to stick with her even though he's not some sorta vampire ninja. Also, Charles' boss is kinda annoyed, back home. We get a few 4koma strips and a preview of the novel as a nice end bonus. My rating: 7/10 Vampires and other horror-y things are not my jam, but the characters are solid so far, the art is fine, and so far I'm interested in what happens next. I'll suspend judgment until I get a better idea how much of this is standard shonen, how much BLOOD AND VAMPIRES AND MONSTERS, and how much...whatever else it might be.
