MyAnimeList decided to update its security policy or whatever and it wiped out all the users passwords and asked them to make new ones.
Now, this usually isn't a big deal. Just send a "change password" request and they'll send a link to your email, wait a few minutes, bada-bing-bada-boom easy peasy.
Unfortunately, the email I used to make the MAL account no longer exists, and I haven't updated my profile to use my current email. So I can't change my password, which means, I'm essentially locked out of my account.
My account that I have catalogued over almost 7 years worth of manga that total over 250+ different series.
Gone.
Fuck.
Eh... MAL still appears on maintenance for me, and they never asked me to change my password or anything before they started it...
