I've rerun single shows dozens upon dozens of times by savescumming before to try and get a feel for how the game actually works. And yeah there's a lot of technique there but randomness is a huge deal too. And not even in the way you'd necessarily think-- like a random interview doing better than you expect can tank the following segment cause it won't be able to follow up, which can in turn tank the segment after that because the crowd is cold.
