Runs in the background, hogs resources, can't be turned off, phones home often, snoops through your PC for installed software, won't work offline, blocks you from using games you bought, what more proof do you need? I've told the story too many times. We need to make a site to inform new PC users that they do not want to go near Steam. Those who use it aren't reliable sources of information. Steam works offline for me without issue. Has never blocked me from games I've bought. Have you thought about learning how to use your PC? Same here.
