Peh. They should have thought about releasing content months ago. I tried it during launch and was annoyed that instead of maps and modes all they were doing was focusing on lootboxes. There was like 1 map, maybe 2 characters, and the modes were all quickly removed. I got fed up and moved to better games. It was a slow grind anyway, didn't even make it to level 50.

Their release schedule is actually pretty consistent. New hero every 4 months, with new maps, modes and events in between.

They waited too long to get started. The lootboxes weren't even a good mechanic. It took hours of play to get one and when I did it was all stickers. You think I'd unlock a skin once in a while or at least some coins, but no they were extremely rare. Ended up with around 800 coins total.

The characters made no difference to me. All I used was the rocket launcher girl I forgot the name of. Tried the rest but she made the game feel a little like Quake 2 so I stuck with that. Then as I said the modes and events didn't last long enough so it got boring faster than it should have. For as much as people hype Blizzard I don't see what's so special about them.
