Everybody always defends that mechanic and says it wasn't a big problem, but I always thought that even when it was manageable it was still annoyingly unnecessary. Who wants to be yanked out of the game they're playing while in the middle of it? Even if you try to mitigate the annoyances with the drop items and the boosts, it's still just a bad idea that adds nothing interesting overall. --- Okay, I rolled a 14. What's that mean?
